Calibration Method
The method below is quick and simple to follow, using a calculator with a memory.

THE FACTOR: To be held in the calculator memory
(this converts output 100m to Kg/ha)
Measure the Working-width [Tractor passes centre to centre] in metres.
0.1 divided by Metres working width equals Factor add to memory

KILOGRAMS PER HECTARE To GRAMS MACHINE OUTPUT
To convert: Required kilograms per field hectare to Required grams per 100 metres

Kg/ha divided by Memory recall equals Grams per 100 metres (whole machine output)

GRAMS MACHINE OUTPUT To KILOGRAMS PER HECTARE
Collect & weigh the output from each outlet for 100m (use scales able to measure to 2g or less) the outlet outputs must be within + 10%. Add the outputs together.

To convert: Grams machine output per 100m to Kg/ha Whole machine grams per 100m times Memory recall equals Kilograms per hectare
